Air France to launch new La Première Suite from September 2014
Air France has today announced its latest La Première Suite, to be equipped on its Boeing 777-300 planes from September 2014.
Aviation enthusiasts are welcome to visit an on-the-ground version at “Air France, France is in the air” exhibition at the following locations.
Shanghai from 8 to 11 May 2014
New York from 26 to 28 June 2014
Paris from 20 to 21 September 2014
Judging by the photos in the press release, it certainly looks timeless with its crafty mix of fake leather, real leather and suede. Couple that with some fine French dining (snails anyone?), a Givenchy wash bag, and a 24” TV — one of the largest you'll ever see on an aeroplane.
Notice this bold statement in their annoucement though:
When the passenger is ready to go to sleep, the crew members install a mattress on the seat, for impeccable comfort. They are then given a fluffy pillow and a Sofitel My Bed® duvet. The pillow is placed in a soft cotton pillowcase for ultimate softness, guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep.
I wonder what's at stake if it's not perfect? First night free?
(If you are based in The Netherlands and want a few thousand points to help you on your way into the above seat, I can refer you for one of the American Express cards. Email me info{a}pointstobemade.com and I can send a referral link your way. )
