Merry Christmas to you all!
A very merry Christmas to all readers across the world! I'm in the sunnier climates of Central America escaping the European chills. Here's a nice photo I took a few days ago of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala.
This year has been hectic what with starting this blog, moving to a new country, starting a new job etc. but it's also been a wonderful experience trying out so many new in-flight products, airport lounges and seeing new sights.
Things should be more settled for next year so hopefully more activity on Points to be Made. As always if there's any specific topic you would like me to cover do let me know, but but in the meantime…don't eat too much Turkey!
The Western Highlands of Guatemala are among my favorite places in the world. I am missing Casa Lola. It is a small guesthouse we stayed in for a week in San Pedro La Laguna. It is so beautiful up there! Merry Christmas and enjoy!
My experience of Central America was fascinating, a mix of natural geographical beauty and laissez-faire lifestyle. Too bad about the hundreds of mosquito bites I suffered!
